Providence Ghost Tour did not start walking until after almost a year of research. Research wasn’t just interviewing people about their ghostly encounters (though there certainly was that); it was hours of reviewing microfiche at the Providence Public Library, combing through the card catalogues of the Rhode Island Historical Society, befriending the staff of the City Archives and haunting them for more information, and scouring the Providence Preservation Society’s digital collection. You will learn about Providence history on this tour, as well as Providence mystery! If you are opening additional tabs and Wikipedia-ing Providence history and going down the proverbial rabbit hole, a ghost tour is right for you!
Skeptics Welcome!
Skeptics keep us honest. Tour Owner Courtney is a skeptical believer- she wants to use a process of elimination to determine if a haunting is authentic or perhaps a misunderstanding/overactive imagination/logical explanation. Skeptics are welcome to join the tour and determine for themselves whether there is valid paranormal activity happening in Providence, RI or if it is an excess of creative spirit flowing through the East Side of Providence. If you are ready to debunk myths, a ghost tour is right for you (though please be polite and respectful)!
